Company background

Initially tied to the container repair sector, SOGESE S.r.l. was established in 1980 by Ercole Monti. The driving force was the strong growth of maritime and international trade that brought good market opportunities for container maintenance and repair activity. The company started soon dealing with the second hand and new container trade, in Italy and abroad.

During the early 90’s, SOGESE celebrated the new dry and reefer container lease activity following the success of the most popular British models. This was an alternative to the storage inside the ordinary and permanent company’s warehouses, permanent cold rooms included. In 2000, SOGESE, following the success of the activities related to the dry and reefer container hire, launched QUICKBOX, a brand dedicated to the sale and rental of prefabs.

These prefabs are living spaces built inside modular units realized by cladding insulating panels to a steel bearing structure. SOGESE’s brand HOME CONTAINER was launched in 2013 and was addressed to all the activities related to the design, production and sale of high standards living spaces completely arranged and set up for immediate use inside ISO shipping containers.
