Idea Freddo is a SOGESE registered trademark, specializing in the supply, also in the rental formula, of cold rooms for the storage and preservation of heat-sensitive goods and substances. Idea Freddo cold rooms are always available in two models, designed to serve different markets and needs.
- ISO STANDARD type cold rooms, manufactured in accordance with international regulations for maritime and intermodal transport, are the only ones that can be certified for the transport of perishable goods by sea and rail.
- ISO STATIC-type cold rooms are designed to provide logistical support, as an additional refrigerated warehouse, to companies engaged in the production, processing and distribution of perishable or heat-sensitive goods and materials. They are all equipped with an automatic door opening mechanism from inside the cold room.
Both ISO STANDARD and STATIC type cold rooms are available in different sizes and cubages, from the smallest 8-foot model with a capacity of 3 europallets, to the largest, the 45-foot high cube that provides over 22 europallets of internal load. Access to the interior space is provided by a double-leaf door, while temperature and humidity are regulated by an external controller connected to the refrigeration motor. All cold rooms operate in a temperature range of -40° centigrade to +40° centigrade with very low average consumption at steady state.
The motors are electrically powered, but in the absence of an electrical source, the cold rooms can still run through diesel generators, again provided within the Idea Freddo service. In addition, the cold rooms can use ecosystem-neutral, environmentally friendly refrigerant gas, or CO2-neutral CO2, a feature that differentiates us from competitors.

Our range is wide, with variable storage sizes and volumes, and we provide immediate technical support 7 days a week, which is essential for controlled product temperature management. We have remote alarm and performance monitoring systems, as well as operator protection and safeguard systems.
