Non operating reefer
A non-operating refrigerated container is a refrigerated container or reefer container used without a functioning refrigeration unit or with a refrigeration unit that is no longer operational. It has better insulation properties than a normal dry container due to the thickness of the walls and insulation with high-density polyurethane foam. It is often used for transporting goods that do not require temperature control but require better thermal insulation than dry containers.
