Is it possible to rent a cold storage room for short periods?
Yes, you can rent an IDEA FREDDO refrigeration unit for short periods, such as a few days, but a minimum flat rate equivalent to one month's rental will be charged. Our refrigerated container rentals are a flexible, immediate, and cost-effective solution, as a daily rate will be applied only for the duration of the rental contract, with no additional fixed costs.
How many pallets can you stow in a cold storage room?
IDEA FREDDO refrigeration units offer multiple storage capacities according to customer needs From the smallest size, such as the 8-foot cold room, which can hold up to 3 Europallets, to the largest container, the 45-foot reefer high cube, which can provide over 22 Europallet loads.
What to do in case of cold storage malfunction?
If you experience a refrigerated container malfunction, you can contact support via the toll-free number posted on the website. After a brief telephone check and an attempt through remote assistance, our technicians will take action within 24 hours of the report, if necessary. In addition, thanks to the 'FREDDO SICURO' program, each cold room undergoes scheduled maintenance shared with the customer in order to minimize the risk of breakdowns and malfunctions due to lack of routine maintenance.
What is the temperature range of refrigerated containers?
IDEA FREDDO refrigerated containers cover a wide temperature range, from -40°C to +40°C, ensuring very low average energy consumption during normal operations, thanks also to sensors that turn off the refrigeration machine when the doors are open and ensure it restarts when the doors are closed.
How long does it take to deliver a cold storage room?
IDEA FREDDO refrigeration units and sea containers of the STOCK SOLUTION line are always available at our Italian and foreign warehouses and can be delivered, in Italy, within 48 hours after order confirmation.
Can QUICKBOX boxes be combined to create open space or multi-story structures?
Yes! QUICKBOX prefabricated boxes, available for sale and rent, are designed to be easily combined and stacked to create open spaces and multi-story structures, providing flexibility and greatly reducing costs compared to traditional construction. Using CAD design, the housing modules can be transported and coupled and/or stacked on site up to 3 levels.
What facilities are included in QUICKBOX housing containers?
QUICKBOX prefabricated boxes are produced with an installation of electrical, water and air conditioning systems, other specific equipment is available upon request and can be installed on the housing module to ensure maximum comfort. QUICKBOX housing units are customizable on the placement of doors and windows and on the systems according to customer requirements, after technical evaluation by our technical department.
Is a concrete foundation needed to place containers and cold storage rooms?
A concrete footing is not required to place containers, IDEA FREDDO cold rooms and QUICKBOX housing modules. However, if the ground is not perfectly level, some additional measures may be required.
Are shipping containers waterproof and compliant with national regulations?
Yes, shipping containers in the STOCK SOLUTION line are inspected and repaired so that they are made watertight and comply with national and international regulations required for the maritime transportation of containerized goods. The "nationalization" of the container, which involves the submission of the relevant documentation to customs, ensures that containers sold and leased by Sogese on the Italian territory, meet all legal and customs requirements, to be used without restrictions both domestically and in international shipments. In addition, Sogese issues, should it be required, the certificate (RINA or BV) of suitability for ship boarding.
